Fancourt Outeniqua is once again designed from the legendary Gary Player and is similar in character to its sibling Montagu. Challenging in design and fine conditioning will ensure a test for all levels of golfers.
Named after the mountain range that runs along the Garden Route coast, this resort course has aesthetically pleasing design features such as rivulets and colourful gardens. Like its neighbour, the Montagu, it is in magnificent condition year round. Long hitters will be tempted to reach the green on the shortish par-four fifth hole. A water hazard dominates the right side of the fairway and green.
We suggest - This Gary Player Designed golf course is a great golf course and only accessible for Fancourt Hotel guests so you are unlikely to feel crowded during your round.
Our Pro's Tip - There are lots of small rivers and hazards which are sometimes not visible, so take one of Fancourt's caddies so he can map out the course for you.
