Royal Cape Golf Club is a true championship course having hosted the South African Open no less than ten times and the SA Amateur Championships eight times. The most recent SA Open held here was in 1996 and was won by Ernie Els.

Royal Cape Golf Club is perfectly situated just off the M5 highway 15 min from the city centre surrounded by plenty of facilities and social activities.


We Suggest – This is a great play for any golfing handicap and a fun day out. This is not a course to be compared with the top in South Africa as it does not have the views but a great layout makes up for all of that.

Our Pro’s Tip – There is plenty of water on the course that can be a challenge when playing into the south easter but other than that there is still much space to work with if you are not straight off the tee.
