CHOOSING A HOTEL
Depending on your clients needs, we would suggest a hotel in the area of Stellenbosch. There are many hotels to choose from that will range from your top en boutique style hotels, to comfortable hotels that will cater for individual couples and groups.
GOLF IN THE WINELANDS
You do not need to stay in the winelands to play golf as it is only around 40 minutes from Cape Town to all major courses, but for a wine experience including golf, we would definitely recommend a hotel in the area where you can play golf amongst the vineyards!
HOW LONG TO STAY
We would suggest a 3 to 4 night stay in the wine area of Cape Town as there are many quality golf courses and of course LOTS OF WINE to get through - not to mention the excellent restaurants in the area!

GENERAL INFORMATION ON GOLF IN THE WINELANDS
Situated only 40 minutes from Cape Town city centre you will find the Cape Winelands, and the towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Dotted around these historic towns are a number of fantastic golf courses and resorts. These golf courses invariably have one thing in common and that is spectacular views and great outlooks, something we believe is always a plus when playing golf. When playing golf in the Winelands, you have a choice, you can either stay in the Winelands itself, or you can stay in Cape Town. The Cape Winelands are particularly well known for their excellent food, and this is definitely the gastronomic capital of South Africa. Discuss your individual requirements with your Pro Golf Safaris Consultant. Pearl Valley is arguably the most famous and elegant of all the golf courses in the Winelands, and heads up our list of one of the most professional and best maintained courses in South Africa. This is a truly beautiful course. De Zalze is a golf course actually built on a wine estate, and vines and greens seem to entwine into one another. This is a unique experience and something we believe is a little bit special and definitely worth doing. Slightly further East of the Winelands, in the Hermanus area you will find the Arabella Western Cape Golf Course. We think this course is great. Stay here during Whale Season and watch as the whales come into the coast line. The hotel and spa facilities are excellent and definitely worthy of a few nights stay to combine with your golf.
