CHOOSING A HOTEL / LODGE
Because you are a little more limited when choosing a hotel in this area, we would suggest you make use of one of the Safaris Lodges / Hotels in the immediate area of the Kruger Area. This will allow you more time for golf and safari
GOLF IN THE KRUGER
There are not as many golf courses to choose from and you will probably find that the most asked for course in this area will be Leopard Creek. Nelspruit, White River and Hans Merensky also offer excellent golf, but traveling between these courses might take up some valuable time.
HOW LONG TO STAY
If you are planning a safari and some golf, we would definitely recommend you spend at least 3 nights on safari, and an extra night or 2 in the area to play golf. Some golf courses like Leopard Creek have some limitations for visitors but one of our expert consultants will explain this to you upon requesting a quote / itinerary.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON CAPE TOWN
The Kruger National Park is 2.2 Million hectares and is the size of Switzerland. This spectacular reserve is South Africa’s premier big five game reserve and home to Leopard, Lion, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant. The Kruger Park was opened for visitor in 1926, but originally founded as the Sabi Game Reserve by President Paul Kruger. The Kruger Park itself has 21 Rest Camps as well as 7 Private Lodge Concessions and 11 designated private safari Lodges. The concessions are parcels of land operated by private companies in partnerships with communities, who outsource the operation of private lodges. Golf is also very popular in the Kruger area, although you won't have as much choice as in other parts of South Africa. We would recommend you look at the safari option with golf and suggest that you first finish your safari and either play golf before or after your safari experience.
