CHOOSING A HOTEL
Depending on your clients needs, we would suggest a hotel in the area of George or Knysna as both these towns offer excellent accommodation from resort type hotels to boutique style accommodation. Ask one of our expert consultants for more information.
GOLF IN THE GARDEN ROUTE
Golfers paradise - we would suggest a 5 night stay to be able to experience both golf and tours. Fancourt alone have 3 Championship golf courses let alone Pezula, Oubaai and Simola who are all right up there with the best of the best!
HOW LONG TO STAY
We would suggest a minimum of 4 nights on the Garden Route. There is so much to see and golf will take up most of your days, so allow for some extra time to experience the surrounding areas of the Garden Route.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON GOLF IN THE GARDEN ROUTE
The Garden Route is a beautiful destination to visit. Stretching from Mossel Bay to Storms River and encompassing the towns of Knysna, Oudtshhoorn, George, Plettenberg Bay, Sedgefield and Wilderness – this is a coastal wonder land with many fantastic things to see and do. It is called the Garden Route because of the scrubbery that lines the coast line. There are many interesting things to do on the Garden Route including whale watching, visiting caves, elephant interactions, game drives, mountain passes, beaches, great restaurants and some fantastic hotels. No one is going to complain of being bored. The Garden Route makes the perfect self drive destination and this is the most popular way of exploring this area. Alternatively it can be explored as part of a scheduled or private tour with a guide and vehicle. Only 5 hours from Cape Town it is frequently combined as part of a Cape Town holiday, allowing you to ‘get out of town’ and explore a little bit more of this stunning country. We recommend a minimum of 3 or 4 nights to thoroughly appreciate this area. Speak to your Pro Golf Africa Safaris Consultant about tailormaking the perfect itinerary for your client.
